I love a bit of statistics. The only thing missing from the Department for Culture, Media & Sport’s recent press release, Creative Industries worth £8million an hour to UK economy, is a visually appealing graph. 

I can’t wait for their new website design to be applied to our pesky tax return forms. Speaking of which, online returns are due at the end of January. Have you filled yours in? Lois Addy’s UK Tax for Small Crafting Business Series is a great place to start if you’re filling in the form for the first time. If you’re really struggling though, Lois points out “there is no substitute for taking paid for professional advice specific to your circumstances”.
