Meet Jennifer Adamson of Jenny Wren Fabrics

As part of our virtual markets we’re interviewing makers from across the North East. Shop local and shop small. If you’d like to get involved or help out the local creative community you can check out the #virtualmakeandmend hashtag on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

What do you make?

Children’s clothes & aprons, patchwork bags & cushions, bunting, crochet blankets & headbands, tea cosies, face masks for adults and children and made to order items.

How long have you been making?

I’ve been sewing since I was a young girl making dolls clothes initially, crocheting since a teenager.

Have you started a new project during lockdown?

I have been making face masks, initially for the carers looking after my mother in law and now for sale on Etsy etc.
