Based in Hexham, Northumberland, I design and make beaded and metal jewellery and teach jewellery making in my local community. I sell my work through several shops and galleries in the North East, Cumbria and Scotland and through my website.
In this workshop I will show you how to make earrings and a multi-strand necklace using shapes cut from plastic milk bottles and coloured tigertail wire. You will make a pair of earrings and, if there’s enough time, also design a necklace that you can finish off at home.
You will be able to experiment with different shapes and incorporate other beads into your piece. All materials and tools will be provided.
Price of this workshop is £6.00. This includes materials for a pair of earrings.
Additional materials, such as findings, tigertail wire and beads will be available for a small charge – the plastic bottles are free, of course!
This workshop will run from 10am until noon.
